I turned 31, and Jesse (the captain of my heart) threw me a surprise party.

Wacky guests and all.

Babcia Libby, Nina, Max and Angie came to visit us. It was too short. Libby always made sure we had healthy snacks. Bless her.

Nina painted UV's toenails red.

Violet pointed her toes out to everyone, everywhere, until I had to force her to let me remove the few tiny flakes still clinging to her toenails yesterday.
