I've heard Baby Einstein movies referred to as 'Baby Crack' and I must agree. For now, she watches it once a day. I can't say I'm not tempted to pick the 'repeat play' option on the menu and go get my nails done for the afternoon. It is educational.
Once I agree to let her watch her movie, she immediately runs to her fuzzy banana yellow chair and sits herself down, waiting for it to start. Occasionally I've put the DVD in, then gone to prepare dinner forgetting to hit 'play'. The menu screen alone is enough to hold her attention for at least 5 minutes, so I'm not concerned about ADD.
The second the credits start rolling on the screen is when she starts asking to watch a movie again.
Last week I just kept repeating "no" after every request. She stopped for a few seconds, looking at me, then said "news?". Nice try.
